Saw the doc today and the verdict is that I broke the darn thing in three places and the cartilage is, as I thought, shoved into a little folded ball in one nostril. Yes, it does feel just that comfortable, too.
Surgery next Wednesday.
Albuquerque? I'll be there.
Will I run? I think so. I'll let you nose.

Thanks, although I don't expect there to be any big changes.
My nose was on the larger side, with something of a bump in the middle, and I often thought about having it done, but it wasn't really necessary and such a huge expense.
What's funny is that now that this has happened, I have mentioned getting it fixed and everybody I know gets this overly innocent look on their faces and they say, "Nose? What do you mean, big nose? There's nothing wrong with your nose!" And I've had to say, "Come on, give me a break," but they still insist they have no idea what I'm talking about.
Yeah, right.
